- Organic non-GMO Popping Corn
- Organic Coconut Oil
- Salted Butter
Place a relatively large pot (with lid) on the stove and add one spoon of coconut oil. Turn to medium heat. This will give the popcorn a sweet flavor and it also smells good.
Wait for the coconut oil to melt and coat the pot. Add 1/4 a cup of popping corn (4 tablespoons).
Shake the popcorn kernels around so they soak up some of the oil.
Cut off about 1/2 inch of butter and throw it in the pot once it has heated up a bit but has not yet started popping.
Shake some more so the butter coats the kernels.
Turn to high heat and shake more when the kernels start to pop.
After it has finished popping, more butter can be added. Just be sure to pour and stir otherwise only the top portion will have butter on it.
Done! Better than bagged popcorn AND movie theater popcorn.
